Greetings from the Rocinante in La Gomera

Hello everybody!

This year I decided to relocate to the island of La Gomera in the Canaries. I had no intentions of sailing (didn't cross my mind) but to my great surprise I was invited to join the crew of the Rocinante, a custom-built 16 meter ketch.

My friends are Russians who have just spent three years sailing Stockholm to the Canaries. We're now working to repair the boat for the next stages of the journey.

I've come to this forum to learn. Looking forward to it!
