Greetings from the Caucasus!

Hello! I live in Georgia, not in Southeastern USA but Southeastern Europe. US VP Biden is here today expressing support for this tiny nation on the Black Sea. I joined the Cruisers Forum anticipating my retirement in the US Virgin Islands next year. The last serious sailing I did was out of Newport, RI, in 1976. I plan to take some training and look for a sloop, about 30-35', enough for one person. I hope to live aboard and would love to hear from others who have had that experience, in USVI or elsewhere. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Edward in Tbilisi

Welcome edraupp.

PS I think Biden is there wondering "Where is Jimmy Carter?"
