Re: Greetings from the Baltic sea!

Hi Risto, Welcome to the forum. I almost made it to Finland some 20 years ago. Got as close as Estonia. Couple of shipmates did make it over for the day by ferry. I was stuck on watch.

Hi , I expect to be going from the Bergen peninsular ( Germany ) to the Keil canal in mid July , on average how long would / should that take a medium fast catamaran and are there any handy anchorages along the way ( if needed ) , thank you ( from another forum newbie )

Tervetuloa!

Writing this from Gotland, en route to Suomi via Estonia. Beautiful day today in the middle of the Baltic! You'll find a few Baltic sailors on here, plus a lot of knowledge and good fellowship!

Re: Greetings from the Baltic sea!

Greetings, fellow countryman! I'm also a fairly newbie here, and a much more newbie than you when it comes to sailing. But we share the same cruising grounds and perhaps the same taste in boats
