Hello ALL. I grew up in
Florida sailing and
racing sailboats. My wife and I have always had a sailboat but
sold the last one 2 years ago. We are in the process of trying to semi-retire (working for ourselves) and do ALOT more sailing. We just purchased a 2003
Beneteau 473 in
Houston,
Texas. She is in the process of getting new
canvas, roller furlings redressed, etc. and we hope to be off to
Florida and then back to the
Bahamas by Summer. Time will tell. We plan to
live aboard a month or two and then fly home to catch up, then back to the
boat. We are really looking forward to getting back to sailing. Will be
posting some questions as the
internet access has definitely changed and made access to
work (only if needed) more possible. Hope to see some of you all along the way in our travels. Sandbar Bumper (a voice of experience)
