Although my wife and I live near Ft. Worth, we are really transplanted Californians who do our sailing in the
BVI. Dallas is the largest base for American Airlines, I fly 767's on international routes for them. No
boat yet (unless you count the Laser we used to own), all of our ocean sailing is chartering.
We have wondered if there are many owners who rent/lease their boats for extended periods. If so are there brokers who specialize in that? We would like to spend more time cruising than the typical one or two week
charter from Sunsail etc. but are not ready to pull the trigger on
ownership yet.
