Just kidding, it's rainy and kinda cold. But I love it here. 4 years ago I bought my first
boat, a Bristol 22, and learned how to sail on it. I realize that's not advisable (being terrified of making
mistakes has definitely steepened the
learning curve). A couple years ago I traded in my Bristol for an
Irwin 25, with the goal of luring friends onto the
boat for weekends of cruising. My plan worked and I've spent the last couple summers exploring the islands of Casco Bay.
Like many
novice cruisers, I've got lofty aspirations for the future. I look forward to continuing (been a lurker for a while) to use the CF to further my cruising knowledge by soaking up information from the those who know more than I.
