Greetings from Oregon

Happy 2015! This is my first post. Thought I'd finally join the forum after so many months of reading others. What a wonderful community of sailors. We sail our 17' Cape Cod Catboat on a beautiful inland lake here in Oregon. Excellant summer sailing. I inherited the boat from my father and was with him as a teen 40 yrs ago when he purchased the boat in Wareham MA from Cape Cod Shipbuilding. Schlepped it xcountry and have enjoyed it for the past 10 years. Looking forward to crewing with others, especially north in SanJuan Is and Desolation Sound in the near future.

Re: Greetings from Oregon

cerrsls,

Welcome Aboard. There are a number of CF'ers from Oregon and Washington, you may hear from one of them.

All the best,

Ann

Howdy Cerrsls and Welcome Aboard!

I think catboats are cool.

I also think it is cool that you have such a long history with your boat, and the connection to your father (and family) with it. That is nice.
