Greetings from NY

Greetings forum-mates. The forum seems a real treasure trove, so I'm looking forward to picking your brains when the time comes. We bought a Valiant 40 last summer . After a great 'get to know each other' cruise from FL to NY, I am now in the depths of the winter 'get to know you' maintenance and digging around. Meanwhile, I have a water maker and possibly other gear that I would happily use to finance more urgent stuff, like a new mainsail, so heading over to post on the classifieds section. I just thought it would be polite to say hello first!

Hi 3reefs.... Welcome and Congrats on the new boat... from the posts and raves about them on here you should shift your watermaker pretty quick...
Enjoy the boat mate...

3reefs,

Welcome aboard the CF.
Valiant 40. Very nice. Sailed one called "Emma D" all over Long Island Sound, US.
She was my slip partner for 6 years.
Everyone always would walk the dock and stand in front of her and just stair. Just beautiful lines.
