Joined the Forum today but been sailing 60 years. (I’m old).
Lake sailing scows and ice boating in Madison Wisconsin as a lad, lots of windsurfing, Chesapeake Bay with a Newport 28, here in Newport with an Ericson 32, a Macgregor 26X and now purchasing a 1975 Fisher 30 Pilothouse.
I always learn so much on this forum.

A house is but a boat so poorly built and so firmly run aground no one would think to try and refloat it.
Welcome to CF from north of the Canadian border. Hope you enjoy your new boat ... maybe we'll see you up here one day, if you get really adventurous !!

Would love to explore that area. Plans now are more modest, day sailing and short trips on the Oregon coast,
but who knows!
