Greetings

Hello, and Gday!
We are gearing up to set out on some bigger and off-shore adventures....
The yacht is still teaching us much, each and every trip.
We mostly on the Inside-Passage of Van-Isle. With hopes and plans for greater adventures!
Just a quick "G'day"
Cheers

Re: Greetings

Well, welcome aboard Cf, Grippy.

Whichever way you decide, you should learn heaps, and then, be in a position to tell about your trip.

Fair winds, mate.

Re: Greetings

Welcome.

I would suggest updating your profile with your general location and your boat make & model or “Looking” in the "Boat" category. This info shows up under your UserName in every post in the web view. Many questions are boat and/or location dependent and having these tidbits under your UserName saves answering those questions repeatedly. If you need help setting up your profile then click on this link: https://www.cruisersforum.com/forums...ml#post3308797

I would happily help more if the link above is not enough.

Re: Greetings

Well thank you Adelie!
It would appear that somehow all that information vanished!
Although the photo was still set for the avatar, all the other details vanished...
I have redone them, and will keep an eye out for further vanishing!

Re: Greetings

Welcome aboard Grippy ... sounds like you're in our general area of the Salish Sea. Lots of great cruising around here before you head out on your big adventure.

Re: Greetings

Welcome Grippy,

You have pictures of your boat you want to share?

I grew up in southeast AK, I imagine the area is similar to yours. I hope to sail back that way someday.

Re: Greetings

Hello Zeke!
I would like to share photos...
I ha e found some inconsistencies when I try...

This photo for instance, loads nicely...

Other places in the forum, the same photo results in a response reading "the image I too large"...

Not sure what the subtle differences are, but I am keen to learn.
Cheers
Grippy
