Hello,
After couple of years of lurking, planning chartering and sailing on the lake, and on other boats all over the world, from
Norway to Svalbard and
Alaska, we made a big plunge. We purchased Tevake, a beautiful and well maintaned 2001 42 F Hallberg-Rassy, on
Grenada. After a short
survey visit we put her on hard and plan the first proper weeklong shakedown sail around
Grenada and Grenadines during the Thanksgiving week.
We are still working, so the plan is to take off for a week every month in the begining of 2019 to slowly bring her North to Carolinas where we will still reside for most of 2019.
We plan to take her from Grenada to Antigua/St. Martin in January, then to Fajardo,
Puerto Rico in February, then next jump would probably be to Providenciales, Turk and Caycos in March.
Any comments or advices in general or about places/people where we could leave her for a month of so in
Antigua or St. Martin, Fajardo and Providenciales would be apprieciated.
Best.
Pawel
