Mid 30's couple planning a circumnavigation in 10 years, when our kids are done college.

Currently have a 22foot Edel 665, plan to move up to the trip boat in about 5 years.

Hi Dave and Cathy and welcome to the forum! The Edel 665 is a great trailer/sailor - decent performance, construction and a commodious interior for its size. I'm sure the experience you will gain on her will put you in good stead for your future plans.

And congrats on having the wisdom (although I am sure it didn't feel like it at the time) to have your children so early - to be able to have your children done college by the time you are in your mid-forties is a real bonus!
