I just bought my first sailboat, and am so looking forward to the adventure for my
family and I. Having been sailing all my life, I can’t wait to get going! While there is some
work ahead on the
boat, I can enjoy digging in and
learning all the systems.
We live near Daytona Beach,
Florida and have 2 teenage boys who love sailing. Our goal is to
cruise Florida and down through either the
Bahamas of the Keys. Long term is to get too the USVI’s and South!
I’m glad the previous owner suggested joining this site and it looks like there is a lot of
experience and some great stories here! I’ll take any
advice I can get, knowing there are some hard earned opinions! We’ll share our adventures as we get going!!!
