Thumbs up Gidday from New Zealand

We have just purchased a 12m Yacht to replace our current 10.4m Stewart 34. Hoping to go offshore in the next couple of years so needed something a bit more suitable. Now I just need to finish the refit and sell the Stewart...

For Kiwis its pronounced "Gudday" (as opposed to Aussies who pronounce it "Geeday").

In order to reduce confusion, Aussies spell it "G'day" - basically the fewer letters the better for your average Aussie, that's why they shorten everybody's name (or add an O to it).

Howdy from Texas,
We say howdy in Texas as opposed to Hi or hello for the rest of the US
