Getting closer to the dream...
Hi everyone,
My husband and I bought a passagemaker by Beebe this year and are working on getting everything closed out at our land location so we can be on her full time. It's taking longer then we had hoped it would.. but we are close to having it all tied up and living the dream.
Excited to be on the forum and do more research into people that have done this full time... plus all the new stuff and the review. We've owned boats before but haven't lived full time on one. So lifestyle change. Can't wait for it!

Wonderful!
Do you have more details about your boat perhaps? I'm just curious. I've never heard of a "passagemaker by Beebe". Also if you have any pictures, that would be lovely.
Thank you,

It is a custom made boat using a design by Robert Beebe. It was originally built in Philippines. Robert Beebe wanted a power boat that was built for ocean travel, at the time they didn't have any he liked, so he designed one. Eventually designing more. This boat was built by a couple who wanted to travel, unfortunately I think before it was finished the wife past away. So the husband brought it back to the states, but sold it after that.
We originally were looking at DeFevers but when we saw her sort of fell in love.
I have some pictures posted on a facebook page https://www.facebook.com/MuirgenAfloat Or if you are not on facebook there is some videos on youtube https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJ4...hSImQK3IJqxOcg

Interesting I wasn’t aware many Beebe boats were ever built. I have his book
Lovely boat by the way. Should take you around the world.

I hadn't even heard of them before we bought ours. But there are two others in the NW that I've know heard about. Have the book, but haven't had a chance to read it yet, but it's on my list for when we get out of here.
Thank you. Definitely an ocean going vessel, one of the biggest reasons we bought her. Hope we have the opportunity to explore the world for many years on her.
