Hi all, my name is Kerstin. I live on the
West Coast of NZ. I have three beautiful
children and one
boat ('Tara'). Tara is relatively new (launched in 2005) but is a traditional wooden gaff rigged yacht. I had great plans to sail the world but a lack of
money and an uncooperative (is that a word?!) husband has put those plans on hold for a few years. BUT I refuse to give up on the dream. Am in the process of separating and doing some soul searching at the same time...
current theory is that living together ultimately destroys most relationships so my
advice would be to live close but not together with your partner.... like on your own
boats within
dinghy range! Tara is
on the hard but will be back in the
water soon (Greymouth to start with then will be based in Picton). I look forward to some interestiing and practical discussions here.
