G'day all

Hi, I'm generally new to all of this and looking to purchase a boat from Australia in the next 12-18 months.
Any advice for purchases within Australia or buying abroad?

Howdy and Welcome Aboard CF!

There are numerous members of CF living in Australia. I am sure you will find good advice located in some of the countless threads related to buying boats.

Tip: It is helpful to clearly identify (in your CF Profile) where you are located. That helps others tailor their answers to your possible local needs or availability of boats in your area.

Hope that helps.

Re: G'day all

It may just be language differences, but you say "purchase a boat from Australia" which implies that you are not based in Australia.

A bit more information about where you are based, what sort of boat you are looking for and where you intend to sail it would help people help you.
