Welcome aboard Westbeat! I went to the website and you need to click on any highlighted part of the description you see initially and then it takes you to a full description and a button for you to send a message. I didn't try it and I have no idea if it is legitimate or not. I saw no reason to be suspicious of it but I'll leave that to you. I will say craigslist often has many boats that are nearly free or could be. We have a thread here:
that may help too. It can definitely be true that a free boat can turn out to be very expensive if it needs too much to get it sailing and/or if you are not ready to do a lot of work
yourself. Then again, bringing a boat back to life can be rewarding especially for kids, as long as it doesn't take too long. And when I say "back to life" I don't necessarily mean back to Bristol condition.
Where are you located?
Good luck and let us know what you find!
