First Time Cruisers

Hi friends,

I'm an enthusiastic Dutch sailor, looking to cruise the Mediterranean. My partner and I saved up over the last few years and are now preparing our first cruising adventure. I hope to find advice and experiences here from others who have sailed in this area.
We're also buying a boat for the first time, so I'll also look for tips in this area.
When we are underway, we'll share our own experiences here!

Great to meet you all! - B

Welcome to the forum.

I have no experience or advice regarding those cruising grounds. So... just a welcome.

Just use a little caution in reading though the site that you don't let some of the views talk you out of the type of boat that YOU like. In the end all boats are generally good if in sound condition overall. Welcome to CF.

Aloha and welcome aboard!
Searching for the right boat for you is a lot of fun. Reading and talking with sailors helps narrow down which one might be best. If you can go to marinas and have a look that is always a great time.
kind regards,

Welcome!

We have a wealth of information on most any topic you may require here at CF.

We are not new at all to people being new here so we have you at an advantage and you'll find most members willing to help. If you start some place you can get some place else.

Once the answers stop leading to more questions you'll know you are close to finding the rest of the questions. So hang on and enjoy the ride!
