Welcome aboard Jibber Jabber Im also a newb to the Forum and just bought my First sailboat Im also X Navy 4 Years was on FFG7 In Mayport Fl My Baptism by Fire was Going out in Hurricane my First time out of the Harbor I Ilmost Reinlisted for the 20k reinlisment Bonus so i could buy a Sailboat in Hindsight I probably should have Oh well Better late than Never I guess

Aloha Steve,
I was a "Target" sailor and we used to love trying to track you guys. Thanks for letting us catch you a few times. The photo on the right looks like an Epperson class DD but could be an Escort. I went through one Typhoon on a ship very much like that. The other two hurricanes I was in was on a Cruiser which was a little larger.
