Engine Repower

Hello from L.A and Susan aboard Genesis, a 1978 Shannon 38 cutter we have owned for 12 years. We have been cruising two years and have plans to transit the Panama Canal and travel the South Pacific. Our website is wyattsailing.com. We are having some West. 4-108 problems and are considering a repower. We are interested in finding any other Shannon 38 owners who have repowered with the Yanmar 55.

Hi Dutch,

I will also have rebuilt spares- 4 injectors, unused Lucas starter, new Sherwood water pump">raw water pump, 60 amp alternator and on engine with less than 3000 hours a rebuilt HP fuel pump and Lucas starter, in addition to a lot of small stuff.
