Eastern Med Sailor

Hi, I am one of half a dozen active sailors in Lebanon (most of them fellow foreigners). My wife and I go for short sails ( a few hours) at least twice a week, work permitting. A number of short hops to Cyprus +- 20 hours, and a once a year cruise to Turkey complete the options while not (for the moment) a liveaboard.

Would like to exchange with fellow members news about my sailing area, perhaps encourage a visitor or two, and talk boat maintenance (a daily job to justify a sundowner in the cockpit !).

Hello, and welcome to Cruisers Forum.

Great to have you here, and hope you enjoy the experience. We'll be looking forward to hearing about sailing in the eastern Med.

G'day.
Welcome to the site. We in turn were given a great welcome in Jounieh in 2006 when we visited on our yacht, so pleased to be able to reciprocate from outside.
Where do you sail from - what do you sail?
JOHN

Aloha and Welcome aboard!
We've had folks from Haifa join our website but I know that is a nation and culture away from you. Happy cruising.
Kind regards,
JohnL
