Coming Back!

Hi everyone. My name is Ray and I am a former live-aboard. My wife Patty and I had a Catalina 380 for 5 years which we originally kept on the Cheasapeke. We traveled between Newport, RI and the Florida Keys and out to the Bahamas. Having been land locked since 2006, we have decided to get back to boating, and plan to live aboard for a few months a year. We are just starting the search for an acceptable trawler in the 34'-36' range.

Re: Coming Back!

Welcome back! We "home port" near to you in the St. Johns River, but we're usually away. Where do you expect to keep the trawler?

Re: Coming Back!

Not sure what our plans are. We did look at the marina in Brunswick, Georgia. I plan to check out the St. Johns as well. No time table, yet.
