Never owned one, Paul was around
Bermuda a lot in the late 60's-early 70's, when I was part of an operation building 70ft tourist
cruise boats out of Airex
core.
He had been sailing the wooden Venus' in and out for some years. I actually sailed on the 16ft venus with him locally. He spent a lot of time with us, and got
sold on the Airex boats.
Most were owner built, but in this small community, many enthusiasts lent their talents and knowledge freely.
There are 4 or 5 still here in
Bermuda. Sorta home to roost after many miles.
Moon and Bear are 2 more of the well travelled 42ft models.
Lots of fun back then.
