Cheers from Toronto

Howdy!

I ran headfirst into this forum a week or two ago and it's been smooth sailing ever since. I've never sailed before, but I grew up hearing about my dad's adventure across the Atlantic in a small sailboat. He'd never sailed before either, got asked to crew and said it was the experience of a lifetime.

I've seen some of the world by plane (Japan, Russia, lots of Europe, etc.), but it's my dream to sail across the Atlantic.

Here's hoping I make it!

cheers

Matt
