Carolina Newbie
Most weekends, you will find me on the boat at Oak Island. I am new to boating and to sailing. Usually, there is some little project that I'm working on. So far, I've met several live aboard sailors at the marina. I've even been up in the chair on one of their boats. It seems that I was the lightest of the 3 of us. Note to self "fatten up". Actually, it was pretty cool.

Wow... "another NC newb"! I knew I liked ya Mr. Forklift man!
I need to PM somebody and make sure it wasn't "him" that sent ya up the stick... If so, I think it was right unfair to take advantage of ya...

There is also a NC sub-group, as part of this forum, that might interest you: Cruisers & Sailing Forums - North Carolina Sailors

I confess that I've not yet darkened their doorway at The Dead End. Perhaps we'll have a meet-up there, as Downtime suggested, and discuss the wisdom of honorary membership for the guy with the sticker.
I have been seen upending a glass at Slainte, however.
