CANADIAN in NOVA SCOTIA

Hi all, I,ve been just checking out the site and there seems to be a lot of variety here. Anyway I,m 61, done a fair bit of sailing, wooden boat builder for a number of years and am looking to make some changes in my life. I love to travel on my bike and would like to get back to living aboard. I,m just enjoying the diversity here and the Brrrrrrrrrr cold days. Cheers Mike

Re: CANADIAN in NOVA SCOTIA

Hi there, You sure need something to keep the sanity with this winter, just won,t end, man I,m reading about poeple sailing in warm sunshine, Am I nuts to stay here ? Can,t wait to get the boat ready this year, Think I,m go to do more cruising than last year. I got a Hurley 22, english built, very sturdy, stiff pocket cruiser, and a Drascomb, and a Northern 26 and a few more. Too much stuff when you can,t do anything all winter. What are you sailing in Halifax ? Cheers Mike

Aloha and welcome to the forum.
Good to have you here. According to the TV weatherman you've had your share of cold weather this winter.

Re: CANADIAN in NOVA SCOTIA

It briefly got above freezing on my side of Nova Scotia. I've been living on the Minas Basin for a decade and not once seen a boat in the waters that once saw the largest sailboat ever built.
