Cal 35

Hello all. It is nice to be part of this community. I am buying a Cal 35 to live on in San Carlos Mexico.
Any thoughts? Should I remove AC unit when sailing? I will be staying in Sea of Cortez

Re: Cal 35

Welcome aboard!
There are quite a few folks here who can tell you about Cal 35s and San Carlos. If you start a thread about them I am sure you will get some good advice. You might try the search feature here too, you might find some helpful older threads.

Re: Cal 35

The AC is only going to work on shore power or a generator. Once cruising if you don't have a generator put the AC away.

If you have the generator then putting the AC away while under way will depend on how much it obstructs sail handling. You'll have to test sail some to figure that out.
