CAL 2-27 in the SF Bay Area

Hi,
I joined a few years ago when we purchased our boat to have a place to crash while I took my daughter to SF ballet school for the year. We live 90 miles from the city so this option worked for us. Not enough cash to rent a room and we wanted to learn to sail after all the kids were gone. Life has been overwhelming but now I'm back. No longer living on the boat but now want learn to master sailing. I did some cool stuff to the inside and need to get the outside painted and find a mechanic to look over the Atomic engine that worked when we purchased it.
My husband is not as enthusiastic as I am but I hope to get him on board with this project. We both did the first ASA sailing course but I'm not confident on taking that out to the SF bay.

You didn't by chance buy the boat that's berthed at RYC, did you? I'm part of a women's casual sail on Friday afternoons (we switch off in whose boat we take) and I also just bought a Ranger 23 with 2 other women so we can do more beercan racing on the Oakland Estuary. If you need support/encouragement/contacts, please let me know! You're in a good place [emoji846]

Hi,
I did not buy that boat, however, we just did our ASA 101 there. That was a few months ago. I'd love to learn more about your ladies group and offer that we can take my cal 2-27 out from Berkeley once I get it all tuned up and a new battery.
