Hello, I am a 50ish soul who has a desire to sail the
Caribbean, and maybe
Central America for a year or so. My planned timeframe is in the next 5-8 years. By then I will have two
children still at home that hopefully will be adventurous enough to retain the excitement that they currently exhibit
. I have owned both a 25 and a 36.
Catalina, and will be looking for a 39-42 something for the trip. I am looking forward to hearing about your experiences and
advice you may have to share. My
family and I do not drink, and hope that our lack of
rum consumption will not hinder our ability to find some like minded cruising friends when we do set sail.
