Beneteau First 42s7 Leaks

Ahoy any Beneteau First 42s7 owners out there.
My 1995 Fiirst 42s7 has a leak through the cabin top aft overhead lights
just port and starboard of the companionway. Can't find the source.
Any one else with that problem with a solution?

tHANKS,
Capt Mike

Aloha Mike,
Welcome to the forum. I don't have a Beneteau, just lots of leaks. Usually the source is something bolted through the deck or cabin top/side that has been stressed lately. The bedding compound breaks down or becomes stiff and allows water intrusion. Also, it is really hard to track a leak because it shows up a few feet from the source if you have liners.
Hope you can sort it out. If you think you've found it then turn the hose on it to see if it truly is what you suspect.
regards

Line organizers or jamlocks.

Ahoy Capt mike, Im the owner of a 1999 first 42s7 and yes Im having the same problem, just purchased the boat a few months ago. The main sheet is attached on the roof and the water is leaking through where the bolts go trough the roof.
