Day Sailing the Atlantic for 15 months except for the two
hurricane Matthew and Irma and the
dock repair periods a total of 50 times.
I have been begging for crew(min 1 or 2 for worse weather) to sail weekly.
This, my first
boat, keeps me busy.
I have yet to motorsail anywhere by myself since the Ponce Inlet
current by the
dock can spin the
boat 180 deg when the speed is below 1knt and run around.
The Ponce Inlet and the shifting shoal areas make returning to the dock a significant task. Many of my crew have been one sail and done. My
Morgan 36 is the only sailboat that
sails or motors out regularly.
I have a goal to day sail 100 times, before being damaged by a
hurricane.
