Hey everyone!

Anthony here. Shopping for a good liveaboard in Oahu as my first sailboat purchase. I have boating experience in MI, but the Great Lakes are a different beast than Hawaii, and I am new to sailing. My classes begin on July 9th (I know that will be suggested, rightfully. &#128579 and I am really excited to learn from all the experience on this forum. Looking forward to connecting with new sailing friends all over HI.

Welcome aboard Anthony! Good luck in the boat search. We have some members here who can give you pointers about sailing around Hawai'i. I know Roverhi is down in Kona. If you start a thread looking for tips I'm sure you'll get a lot of good ones.

I am on my way to look at a promising N30 MKII as I type this. Shopping has proven to be both exciting and frustrating, but I have been down that road before. Excited to use the skills I have gained from tiny living, sustainable homesteading, and the advice of the kind folks here to get out and about in the islands.
