Aloha

GREETINGS BOATING COMMUNITY..WAS TRYING TO FIND OUT SOME INFO ON FORMOSA 41 AND ENDED UP HERE.. HOW COOL THIS IS IT TAKES ME A WHILE TO GET FAMILIAR WITH NEW CIBER COMMUNICATIONS BUT LOOKING FORWARD TO NETWORKING WITH ALL YOU CRAZY CRUISERS.. I'M IN KONA HAWAII .. MY FORMOSA 41 IN HONOLULU I USE IT LIKE A HOME AWAY FROM HOME AND FOR CRUISING HAWAII..HOPE YOU ALL ARE ENJOYING THE ADVENTURE.. CHEERS DREW

Aloha and welcome aboard!
Formosa 41s are very much like my old Mariner 35 only bigger and you probably have a glass hull. There are a couple members here that have them.

how hard is it to liveaboard in Hawaii? I have heard it is impossible on or around Oahu.

I saw a couple boats In Kona, but would rather anchor off of Kuai, or North Shore Oahu, and just all around...

I fear the winter swells on the N. Shore of Oahu, and wonder about other areas... I am guessing it is big swells and current somewhere all teh time... and moorings and anchorages are few and far apart
