What's wrong with a happy ending during a massage? I thought that was the whole point.

Don't get caught up in the massage therapist thing. I'm just down the road from the OP and made offer to teach him and now he wants to know in a PM if I'm a foot fetish pervert.

True story.

Re: All I want to do is sail, but I'm poor

Start small like we did. Our first boat back in the 80's was an 11 foot kite, we'd go day sailing in the harbor or on lakes, it was trailorable and lots of fun for only about $500 including the trailer. Then we moved up to an ODay 20. Joining a local sailing club is also an excellent way to become introduced to sailing and have fun, plus you'll need to know the basics that you'll learn there prior to heading out on something larger.

Attending Boat shows are also a great way to get a demo sail from a dealer with a professional crew.

Heading out with people you dont know.. Not a good way.

If you hunt around, it is possible to find a 20-23' sailboat for not much money ($1k to $2k). Sometimes even free. Just need to ask around and keep an eye out for the bargains.

You don't have to be poor, and people aren't obliged to take you sailing just because you are poor. Maybe you could chart a course that with the right amount of hard work could make you financially comfortable. It's not rocket science.

Regards,
Richard.

Hey I might be a foot fetish pervert, just that I don't believe that matters for sailing

Re: All I want to do is sail, but I'm poor

I seem to be having trouble figuring out how to post a greeting on here. Do I just add it to someone else's thread? All I see under the meet and greet area are post but no way to post my own? Thanks for any help you can give me.

Click the "New Thread" button in the upper left, give it a title, post your greeting, and there you go.

Welcome to CF!

Re: All I want to do is sail, but I'm poor

Welcome to the forum. A lot of disjointed answers, lousy humor, sexual innuendoes, and arguments. Damn, we are awesome aren't we?

Look for a sailing co-op. For a small fee you can join, be part owner of a boat, or a fleet of boats, and get all the sailing and cruising you could hope for, along with ample time in maintaining the vessels. Cheapest way to go cruising, meet other sailors, and learn the ropes, hands down.

Must be something with this app and the fact of me using an iPad but I was able to post it from the actual web site. Thank you for the timely reply and the welcome to this forum.

Re: All I want to do is sail, but I'm poor

Learn to sail first. Do not buy a boat in Portsmouth until you have experience in those waters. The tidal race in the Piscataqua can run to 5 knots and the river mouth is open to the Atlantic with only the Isles of Shoals between you and Ireland. Gain experience first. And read Chapman.
