In 77, 78 i have spent a year in Decatur Ill, by the lake. It is where I have learned sailing basics on the Sunfish an later on the Laser, a bit of
racing on
Lightning and Tissel
boats with my host
family, the Johnsons. They introduced the sailing to mem thought me the basics and more and mede me fall in love with the
wind and the
boats...
I have a
boat named "Q". It is a 47 footer, central
cockpit, bermudan
sloop built 1990 in
Italy by Franchini yachts.
I spend up to 4 months per year cruising in
Adriatic and
Mediterranean sea.
Most of that time in Croatian archipelago.
We are just about finished with a new
teak deck about 23 m2 of it. Q is longing for a new set of
sails:
furling genoa and
furling main and maby furling asymetric spinaker...
