Ahoy from New Hampshire

I am novice sailor who has decided to commit much of my attention to learning the ropes.
I am fortunate that as a working class guy I live on the coast and in a town where I can keep a skiff at no charge, and an affordable mooring, just two miles from my home.
I have been picking the brains of everyone I know who sails, and am looking forward to learning more here. I have already found lots to chew on.

Welcome!

I'm wondering where in NH there's not a long waiting list for moorings. NH doesn't have a lot of coast line and the good locations near a dinghy landing are in demand. Even "destination" moorings far away from any landings are hard to get.

I live in Newington where we have dinghy slips for residents, and the harbor master found me a mooring.
