Ahoy from Folly Beach, SC

Hello all,

I came across this site googling info about Bimini. Will post a reply on one of those threads later. Looked over the site and really like it, thought I'd join. I am a special education teacher, and own a small charter boat business in Folly Beach, SC (Charleston area). I'd be happy to share any of my local knowledge from this area for navigation, sailing, and for offshore fishing. Looking forward to reading more and gleaning from your knowledge, as well!

Greg

Thanks for the welcome! Mike-Taco Boy awaits you, and Jim, our season is really year round. We have periods of the winter that are uncomfortable, but not much!

Nope, still down in her winter home by Jupiter. Taking most of May off to do a leisurely sail through the Bahamas and then back up to Charleston for the summer. What slip are you in? Did you get the standard $250.00 slip rent + $20.00 for electricity rate?

Re: Ahoy from Folly Beach, SC

I remember you, if you used to be on C dock. I left for the harbor last year because of the silting of the river, but they dredged it out, so I'm back. Now they have a charter dock with charter rates. I'm on the inside, closer to the gangway than "Nemaste". You'll see her when you get back. Stop by for a beer!

LOL, charter dock with charter rates? Find a private slip owner and work out a deal. Yes sir, I'll stop by some time when I'm in the area. Beer is good food!
