Ahoy!

Hi everyone!

I'm new to sailing and thought I would join up with some seasoned veterans who I could learn from.

I recently purchased a beautiful 1970 Hinterhoeller Redwing 30 and am learning all I can about sailing, boat maintenance, safety, and most importantly for me, solid quality time with my wife and two you boys (ages 11 and 8).

We live in Roanoke, VA and our boat is at a beautiful marina on Smith Mountain Lake. We've taken the boat out several times and are more than pleased with her sailing ability.

The previous owners really refurbished the boat very nicely and it works great for a weekend getaway for my family.

We look forward to many great weekends for the foreseeable future.

Take care and hope to hear from you guys!
