Hi all....
I´ve been lurking around this forum for a few months searching for a way west over the
south Pacific and thought it was about time I came along and introduced myself.... you seem like a friendly bunch
I´m a 30 yr old woman from the UK with a zest for adventure, love for life and big heart....I´ve been dreaming of crossing an ocean under sail since I first stepped on a yacht 14 years ago and now my travels seem to be presenting this option so here I am.
I´m currently volunteering in the Amazon rainforest just outside Iquitos,
Peru after working my way north via various different permaculture projects up and down
South America since last October. I´m heading to
New Zealand for a year or so for 2012 - planning to walk the length of the 2 islands for charity amost other tasty bits and bobs.
Although I have no sailing quals I have some experience island hopping in the
BVI,
Ionian and Dalmation coasts and just love being out on
boats. I´m keen to get my teeth into a big ocean venture and have no quarms with working my ass off and following orders. Any
advice or info from you guys would be most appreciated
Over and out sea trouts!
Liz
