A Traveller Looking to Get Waterbound

Hello fellow members!

Sailing has always fasinated and for me... it was a distant possibility. I finished University last year and have been traveling for about 4 months now until indefinitely. It recently occured to me that now is as good as time as any to get started. I have been reading up more about sailing and hoping to join a crew leaving Europe going to the Americas. Who knows... maybe we might even end up meeting somewhere in the world.

Cheers.

Welcome aboard CF Burms. - The following might be of interest to you, it was posted today by Maramu 46, in the Crew Wanted section of CF.

"Looking for crew members with time on their hands, willing to pay their part and capable of giving a hand when needed. Starting in July 2011 from Corfu, slowly making headway towards the Canaries with stops in Sardegnia, Balearics, Cost Blanc, ect. The boat is a 14m cutter rigged ketch recently upgraded for the comfort and safety of the crew. 20€ per day + divided daily expenses. Possibility to join for a few weeks or if time giving, until the arrival in Grenada (Christmas)"
