Hey folks. My wife Sonnie and I want to introduce ourselves. We liveaboard at Jordan Point Yacht Haven in Hopewell Va. Are there any Pearson Motor Yacht owners out there?

Hi FF and Sonnie and welcome to the forum.

I have a Pearson and it has a motor. Does that count or does the mast disqualify me?

Actually I had forgotten that Pearson made motorboats. Is it a 43'? Have to say that overall I'm very happy with my 42' sailboat and think it's a very good value for the money.

Hey skipmac. Nice to meet ya. Yes, it's a 1985 Pearson Motor Yacht with twin 200 hp turbo Perkins diesels. I am a sailor also. Pearson makes such a great boat, I feel fortunate to have been able to end up with her. I believe I have the very last one made. 11/11 in 1985. It is a great liveaboard. The add is still on yacht world. It was the one in Yorktown Va. My bud has a 35 pearson, 1965 Alberg. Handles great, points high, responsive with just enough weather helm. A joy to play with.
