26 ft on Lake Ozark

I have an MK2 Columbia sailboat on Lake Ozark. I hope to take it down the Mississippi to the Gulf in the summer a few times. I hope to find a co sailboat to do some island hopping.

Welcome to the forum. Sounds like quite the adventure.

Re: 26 ft on Lake Ozark

Welcome to CruisersForum!

I would suggest updating your profile with your general location and your boat make & model or “Looking” in the "Boat" category. This info shows up under your UserName in every post in the web view. Many questions are boat and/or location dependent and having these tidbits under your UserName saves answering those questions repeatedly. If you need help setting up your profile then click on this link: https://www.cruisersforum.com/forums...ml#post3308797

I would happily help more if the link above is not enough.

I am in your neck of the woods. You might be surprised how long the trek is to get down the Mississippi to the gulf. Watch the earlier episodes on this channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/sailingsoulianis , they started from Chicago, but it will show the relevant portions of the Journey. There is a very active sailing group on Mark Twain (MTLSA) in addition to LOZ if interested.
