So, I have been unemployed for the summer and have spent as much time as I could on my sailboat in Colorado. Now I have accepted a job near the San Mateo bridge in Hayward CA.
Now, being one who loves vacations, I fully intend to keep it going although I will have to report to a job several days in a row each week for the next 8-12 months ;-(
I will be looking for sailing clubs, crew needed situations, and generally getting into the
SF Bay sailing thing.
I may want to
trailer my
boat there later but until I know where I will be staying that would just be a hassle.
My wife will accompany me and as I said we have some experience. ( mostly inland lake.
We are in our 50s, non drinkers, non smokers, not as into partying as sailing.
Any thoughts or suggestions ???
