Re: USA TRIPS

I assume not on a boat?

Depends a bit. Prefer nature or cities?

I'd say for nature smokey mountains, badlands, Miami beaches.

For cities Chicago lake front, Madison wi union terrace, NYC/Brooklyn of course, savannah ga, and Miami beaches again. many many others of course. Need you go all those places? I'd trim some

You might like to stop in Atlanta, Georgia and visit the aquarium. Nashville is a great visit. The Amana villages in Iowa will take up a day or two. Wisconsin Dells are fun. Chicago of course has great food and lotta museums including Navy Pier. Ohio has the Air force Museum in Dayton which is in the southern part of Ohio. If you can make it at all and you are interested in aviation, then this is a must see. Ranks right up with the aviation portion of the Smithsonian. By all means stop in Charleston, South Carolina. Disney World in Orlando, Fla along with Cape Kennedy. That ought to get you started.

Re: USA TRIPS

Depends a lot on whether you'd be driving or flying.

If flying definetly include the west. It is spectacular. (Rockies. Grand Canyon. Yosemite. San Francisco etc).

If mostly driving us is very big. I'd recommend getting a decent guidebook. Middle USA can be dramatic in its stark repetitiviness but the coast are more interesting.

Re: USA TRIPS

Visit Philly Penn's Landing, South Street, the Italian market. Visit South Jersey. Pick blue berries in June on your way through the Pine Barrens. Visit any Shore point between Brigantine and Cape May. Visit a town along the Chesapeake and eat blue crabs. Swim, play, laugh, enjoy!

Re: USA TRIPS

Fl to Smokey mts/Asheville area.
Then to nashville (you can say hi to me)
Then fast to South Dakota. See badlands.
Head to Chicago
Then NYC

Spend rest of trip going more slowly down east coast. Hitting shore or major cities as you like. A plethora of options
