Dagnabbit, I was staying away from this, good post mcm!

Are you taking your pain pills? Does ice help? Elevating? I know agony, no one should go through it, medical technology is to a point we don't have to. If the meds are not working, call/page your doc.

My biggest gripe and reason for this post was thst a cash customer can find better prices in some or many instances, and that the health care system rapes the insurance companies. I think so.e interesting comparisons have been made to other countries. It is unfortunate.it turned political etc..
The insurance companies actually pay about what Medicare pays for the same service. They pay less than what a cash paying customer will pay, unless the customer just stiffs them. The insurance company sets the pay amount, not the Dr's or the facilities.

mexico is and was and has been a socialist nation. usa has been capitalist. is a bit of difference there. usa is not set up to socialize anything. what has been done is-- usa has mandatory health care INSURANCE. not mandatory health care DELIVERY. there is a d¡fference.

Re: U.S. Healthcare Pirates

Considering the number of public health care models in the world, why your Government chose the one they did is beyond me. Granted that public health care smacks of Socialism and the Americans propensity to see a Communist under every bed I suppose your Government can be forgiven for making a bad choice.

Re: U.S. Healthcare Pirates

Whenever a Government introduces a law that has to passed first in order for everyone to know what's in it, something stinks to high Heaven'
It's ether fraud or total incompetence and the population let it happen, so, in the next 10 yrs you will reap the pain of that decision.

Re: U.S. Healthcare Pirates

Some were talking about Cuba and how great it was that they had a nationalized health care system....Too bad they can't open a video game arcade without the Communist's clamping down....

Sure sounds like paradise I want to visit or hold up as an example

HAVANA (AP) -- President Raul Castro issued a stern warning to entrepreneurs pushing the boundaries of Cuba's economic reform, telling parliament on Saturday that "those pressuring us to move faster are moving us toward failure."
Castro has legalized small-scale, private businesses in nearly 200 fields since 2010, but has issued tighter regulations on businesses seen as going too far or competing excessively with state enterprises. In recent months, the government has banned the resale of imported hardware and clothing and cracked down on unlicensed private videogame and movie salons.
