A new thread where you anchor your political jokes and cartoons. This mooring field is reserved jokes and cartoons of a political nature, if you don’t like the swell pattern here, sail on by and find good holding in ‘The 2021 & 2022 Joke Threads’ - https://www.cruisersforum.com/forums...ds-250628.html
You can even wipe the waypoints of this new bay from your ‘CF Chart Plotter’ by using the Ignore Thread feature.
However this bay has extremely poor holding for general political comments, discussions and arguments. Drop your pick in those areas and the swell will soon wash you directly onto the rocks of oblivion.
So why this thread - The existing (and past) joke threads have been both popular and problematic. Over the years, many of you have made it clear you don’t want political jokes on CF and yet a few of you enjoy them. Both groups have strong feelings about the subject and this leads to disharmony among your crew mates. Current CF policy is that all jokes are welcome yet some of you will have noticed some jokes are getting deleted because they are ‘political’ yet they aren’t running afoul of policy. Some of you are happy with this arrangement, some aren’t.
Now you have two threads in which to post your humour, one for the political jokes and one for all the others. You are all sailors and you are all smart enough to know the difference. Please be considerate of your crew mates and post accordingly. Please do not post commentary about other posts, as just like the other joke thread, disruptive comments about what others post is not welcome and it will be deleted without notification.
Visit either one or both as you see fit, some of you might get a laugh or two to brighten your day. I have shamelessly borrowed a few jokes of a political nature from the other thread to get the ball rolling.
