Yep, typical "I'm alright Jack"! attitude. (I presume the "socal" means you're Californian? )

P*ssing off the rest of the world with an inconsiderate, parochial attitude seems par for the course.

Continuing to post links in an international forum that you know many forum members can't see is just plain rude.

However, it seems that most people can see them with no problems. That tells me two things:

1. You are not the center of the universe.

2. The problem is most likely at your end.

Let's look at this realistically. If I stop posting altogether, that's going to be a good portion of the jokes suddenly missing.

Let's take a vote: How many people want me to stop posting jokes?

Here's my proposal: How about YOU spend some time posting jokes, instead of whinging?

How many people want StuM to start posting funny jokes?

I vote for funny jokes!

PLEASE keep posting. I can see most of them fine. Occasionally they are blank for me too, but I guess that’s just my loss.

That's not the problem. I always get a response when I point to one of your image links. The problem is that it's a "Forbidden" message and it is returned to any requests from IP addresses in many (most?) countries.

Stu, I've already pointed out you're not the center of the universe. Let me reassure you, you're also not the rest of the world.

It seems that most people can see them just fine. So that will have to suffice, since I don't run that website or control who geofences what, you'll just have to implement the fix you've already discovered. You have also completely ignored the fact that I've REPEATEDLY asked for suggestions, so it's not like I'm ignoring the problem.

So YOUR solution to the problem is: if "YOU" can't see it, then NOBODY should get to see the joke.

Let that attitude sink in for a minute, because you really don't want me to define that personality type here on the board.

Lake Superior just left, and I'm beginning to get the strong feeling that I too have been wasting my time.

I also come here to see funny jokes, I'd sure love to see more of them! The rest of you, keep up the good work!

Indeed!

I don’t get how Melania got it - she’s been social distancing from trump since they got married.

In my mature years I seem to generate more natural gas than the north sea. I now understand the term "Old Fart"

Did you hear about the mathematician who’s afraid of negative numbers?
He’ll stop at nothing to avoid them.

Helvetica and Times New Roman walk into a bar.
“Get out of here!” shouts the bartender. “We don’t serve your type.”
