We used to have a system where we needed to run a lock server on an MS-DOS PC that was supposed to sit in the corner and never be touched.

People kept messing with it, so the admins disconnected the keyboard and stuck it in a desk drawer.

Next time the power went out they were down for two days, until one of us could get to the site and "fix" the issue.
