Re: The New Joke Thread
Why, Adelie, are you suggesting POLITICS is/are a joke?!
Now, that's funny!

Re: The New Joke Thread
Here's something political..... but not one sided, I think.

The last photo is of a reporter bent over and struggling against the wind while two teenage boys casually walk past him, unaffected by the "wind." Another example, indicating this is a widespread practice. Sorry if your sacred cow is one of them. You're welcome to post the video to defend him, it should be a really good joke!
Meanwhile, here's the actual video of the "reporter" (liar) in the last pic. If you don't think that's so misleading it's funny, well... the problem is obvious.

And the joke on me is that I cannot sue them in class action for lying. Bad joke that.
P.S. Them lying is not at all Political. It is just lying.

Re: The New Joke Thread
Socal seems to use his proliferation of posts on here to cover for his political ones. I for one am tired of it.

Re: The New Joke Thread
At the risk of repeating what has maybe already been said, (It has, right?) this is a joke thread. If a post doesn't make people laugh, it isn't much of a joke. Politicians, news anchors, used car salesmen lawyers, etc lying to the public is not a joke. It is merely a tragedy and a very unfortunate but real fact of life. I think we should all resolve to refrain from posting anything that is not a joke here. Surely there are other threads available for rants and exposees and accusations.

I found it funny therefore I thought it was a joke. There is no accounting for taste, the majority of the puns + 100 + year old ancient jokes posted on here are not funny, but I'm not a whiner like a lot of people around here.
If you don't like my jokes, you're welcome to not read them. If you're easily offended find someplace else on the www where you will feel safe.
My suggestion is, if you don't like what others post, feel free to post up some funny jokes yourself. That's what I've been doing, and it seems to work for me.

Re: The New Joke Thread
Reno joke
A man pays a woman $100 for sex.
Suppose she climaxes. (Jackpot)
Is she a prosatute?
or is that gambling?

I was always under the impression that you aren't paying a woman for sex, you are paying her to leave when you were done.

Re: The New Joke Thread
Funny, people!
At least give it a shot, according to your taste,
but if it isn't funny, even to **you**, post it to another thread, starting a new one is easy, and FREE!

Not really a joke, but I love the quote from the Matrix “I love to swear in French; it is like wiping your ass with silk.” Bien sur!
